Are you an experienced Operational Spa Manager who has a passion for delivering excellent customer care whilst leading a successful team? Our new Spa opening in December will offer our guests an exceptional, world class experience.
This is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate to be part of the creation of a unique Spa in the heart of Maynooth. As an Operational Spa Manager, you will have to use your judgement, initiative and experience to drive, motivate and develop a strong spa team. You will understand and consistently message the Glen Royal company culture, that of “A Home away from Home” and the “Friendliest Hotel in Ireland”. This is a direct operational role managing from the floor.
Responsibilities will include: Direct hand-on operations of the Spa, daily management of therapists including short and long range strategic planning so that the spa operates cost effectively and efficiently. Ensure that all financial targets are achieved within a framework of absolute financial control in conjunction with Senior Management. Monthly review of P& L. Monitor reception scheduling of all treatments and group bookings to ensure optimal productivity. Required to open & close the spa and run reception. Hold daily/weekly/monthly team meetings to motivate, inspire and effectively manage the team. Lead in the implementation of quarterly marketing plan. Act as a spokesperson for Noa Spa and the Brand. Administration and implementation of staff training in all aspects of the spa's operations i.e. customer service, spa treatments (massage, body scrubs, facials, etc.), retail sales, standard operating procedures, stock ordering etc. Ensure that Noa Spa Health & Safety policy is adhered to and that all colleagues are aware of the policy and that it’s their responsibility for its implementation. Lead by example. Build strong relationships with each team member to support them in their pursuit of excellence. Ensure the facility is in peak condition at all times (operations and cleanliness). Ensure Client Satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the spa's first priority. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be assigned by Senior Management from time to time.

Lead the team in providing exceptional service and timely treatments Be enthusiast, passionate and action orientated about being part of new initiative Flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends Set weekly rosters and co-ordinate holidays and time off Achieve financial targets and manage team performance Run reception Provide a variety of treatments to clients as and when needed Ensure the entire Spa is maintained to the highest standard in line with standard operating procedures Identify training needs and attend training as required Identify and implement improvements Coordinate general running and administration of the Spa
The Ideal Candidate: Minimum 3 years' experience in a Spa Management environment Eager to lead and motivate a dynamic team Will have a proven track record of achieving financial targets Will have a passion for providing the best treatments and service and consistently innovate to improve service offering Reception experience and strong customer service skills are essential Experience in setting and achieving targets and monitoring Key Performance Indicators Will have excellent Sales, Health & Safety and People Management Skills The ideal person will drive the spa to operational and financial success whilst ensuring high standards and profitability are maximised.
